Edmond C. Taylor 92 of Harlowton died Thursday evening, January 7th, 2021 at his home of natural causes. He was born November 12, 1928 in Clarendon, TX the son of Marcus W. and Virginia (McClenney) Taylor. The family moved to New Mexico and he received his schooling in New Mexico and California. He worked construction until his marriage on September 4, 1953 to Virginia Chavez in Socorro, New Mexico. He then worked in the Mine at Grants, NM and went into demolitions. They moved to Montana and he worked in powerline construction in Billings and they lived in Worden until 1975 when they moved into Billings. He served as a minister with the Rescue Mission in Billings and then in the mid 1980's to Harlowton and served as the Baptist Church as their minister. He also served in Ryegate and then started the Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs which he pastored until his retirement in the mid 1990's. He continued to make his home in Harlowton until the time of his death.

He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Lockwood.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Virginia of Harlowton; daughters Elisa Taylor of Harlowton, MT, Clarita (Ken) Kirby and Edwina Taylor both of Billings, MT; one brother Frank (Rachel) of Denver, CO; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

A Celebration of Life for Edmond C. Taylor will be held later, cremation has taken place with the Perkins Funeral Home assisting the family.
